Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our artisanal craftsmanship and delivery.
Are the katanas battle-ready or for display only?
Our katanas are handcrafted using traditional forging methods. We offer both decorative stainless steel models and high-carbon steel blades that are fully functional and battle-ready.
How long does it take to forge and ship a custom order?
Each handmade sword takes approximately 2 to 4 weeks to forge, polish, and assemble. Shipping typically takes an additional 7 to 10 business days depending on your location.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship worldwide. However, please check your local customs laws regarding the import of bladed items before placing an order, as regulations vary by country.
What materials are used for the handles and scabbards?
We use authentic materials including genuine ray skin (same), high-quality silk or cotton wraps (ito), and premium hardwood for the scabbards (saya).
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If your katana arrives damaged or does not meet our quality standards, you can return it for a full refund or exchange.
How should I maintain my handmade katana?
To prevent rust, we recommend cleaning the blade with uchiko powder and applying a thin coat of choji oil at least once a month or after every use.
